The Houston Independent School District and local TV station Univision 45 have partnered to help prepare Houston families with pertinent back-to-school information during a phone bank on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
Dozens of HISD volunteers, including administrators, counselors, and principals, will be taking the calls from viewers from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tune in to Univision 45 during their 5 p.m. newscast to watch their live coverage of the phone bank and call the volunteers with your questions.
Bilingual volunteers will be on site ready to take your calls and answer any questions related to the new academic year from registration requirements, bus routes and class schedules to vaccinations required and much more.
The purpose of this phone bank is to ensure all HISD parents and students have the most accurate information for a successful academic year ahead.
