Come to HISD’s Financial Aid and Scholarship Fair February 24

Get tips on writing essays and learn about the various types of aid available

HISD’s College, Career and Counseling Department will be hosting a scholarship fair at the Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center (4400 W. 18th St. 77092) on Thursday, February 24.

The event will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and will offer attendees the chance to speak with exhibitors offering scholarships and:
  • Learn about various financial aid types and processes
  • Discover opportunities for undocumented students
  • Apply for FAFSA online
  • Learn how to write effective essays

The Sallie Mae Fund will also conduct a drawing for graduating seniors for a $500 scholarship. Student must be present to win.
