This Weeks Big Shout Out

Congratulations Jaden Walker!
Jaden Walker won a place in the Region Treble Choir. She will be participating in the Region Concert Nov. 12th and 13th. Lamar is very proud of all her hard work.

Congratulations Soumil Goyal!
Soumil competed in the Houston Resilience Design Challenge and Youth Leadership Summit. He participated without a team, but still was able to create a conservancy design that won Lamar $750. That is, not only did his brainstorm, design, and present a solution to a climate resilience but his design is being ‘financed” for implementation.

Congratulations to the Lamar Debate Team!
While at Cypress Lakes High School, Oliver Hoeink & Elliot Fullmer were semi-finalinists and placed 3rd in Public-Forum Debate. Also placing third was the team of Camilla Wood & Bella Griffith.
Out of 46 speakers, Elliot Fullmer placed 2nd & Oliver Hoeink placed third.
In Congressional debate, out of 53, Khanh Dang placed 5th.
