GEMS stands for Girls Exceeding Measures and Standards.  The group is for middle school students in grades 6^th-8^th.  We are a girls only club that discuss topics that deal with:  Etiquette, Social Media, Volunteering, Fashion, Bullying, Education/Career Goals, Crafting and more.  We will be meeting twice per month starting in October.  The students will be formally invited to join and must complete an application.  Once selected, the students will be given a calendar of events for the school year, which will include Club shirt information, volunteer projects, end of the year trip, and conference information.  Above are pictures from last year’s end of the year trip to Kemah Boardwalk.
