      HISD STUDENTS IS HERE TO HELP YOU NAVIGATE HIGH SCHOOL!

      Doing well in high school is important. You’re preparing yourself for the real world after you graduate and the choices you make during these four years can have a big impact on your future. No pressure, right? Wrong. High school and all the decisions, deadlines, and drama that you and your friends face can be stressful and even overwhelming at times.

      We know and we’re here to help. That’s why HISD has created this blog just for high school students. It’s designed to help you with knowledge and information so you can make better decisions while in school and arm yourself with the skills and tools you need to pursue college or a career after graduation.

      Look for weekly updates with important information, deadlines, events, and resources that will help you navigate through each year of high school and plan for your future. Hear from other students and get advice from those who have already gone through it—whether it be deciding what classes to take, how and when to apply for college, or learning how to achieve a healthy balance between school and friends.
