The mission of team Elrod is to provide our scholars with a learning environment that cultivates student achievement both academically and socially. This work will allow them to soar high and become citizens of the community that are equipped with the resources to compete with their counterparts around the globe.They will become leaders that help form the new world while enhancing their skills in health and medical as Emerging Medical Scholars.
This is an important message from Principal Hutchins for all Elrod families. Beginning Monday 10/12, HISD will deliver weekly packages of student meals directly to 14 apartment complexes — San Marcos Apartments and Park Yellowstone Townhomes on Monday, Richmond Chase, Broadway Park Apartments, and Clayton Homes on Tuesday, Windswept Gardens and Southlawn Palms Apartments, and Kelly Village on Wednesday, Bel-Lindo, Northline Point, and The Summit at Bennington Apartments on Thursday, and Houston Westlake Village, Las Palmas, and Willow Tree Apartments on Friday. The delivery program is open to all students who are between the ages 1 to 18 and live in the complexes where food is being delivered. Meals will be distributed from 1 to 3 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Students, parents, or adult family members may pick up the meals, but all families must maintain physical distancing and wear masks during pick up.
