    The Ranger Light Tip Program is a proactive way to deescalate and solve confrontation within our campus. The goal of this program is to give students a platform to report possible fights, drugs on campus, bullying and etc.

    Alesander Olaizola is the proud principal of Edison Middle School. Olaizola has served as a teacher, campus educational technologist, instructional specialist, assistant principal, and principal of Tijerina Elementary School.

     

    With over 18 years of educational experience, he is most proud of the Tijerina school rating moving from a C to an A with five academic distinctions. Olaizola earned his bachelor’s degree in Geography and History and a master’s degree in Business Educational Administration (MBEA) from the University of St. Thomas.

    Schools starts on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 8:30am.  All classes will be held face to face.

  • Will the school give my child a laptop to use? ¿Le dará la escuela a mi hijo una computadora?

    Thank you to the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools grant, every student at Edison Middle School will be issued a new Samsung Chromebook to be used for the entire school year.  Parents will need to complete an online training and pay a $25 fee prior to distribution. Students will check out the Chromebook on August 30, 2022. 

     

    Gracias a la subvención de Verizon Innovative Learning Schools, cada estudiante de Edison Middle School recibirá una nueva Chromebook Samsung que se utilizará durante todo el año escolar. Los padres deberán completar una capacitación en línea y pagar una tarifa de $25 antes de la distribución. Los estudiantes revisarán el Chromebook el 30 de agosto de 2022.
