I am honored to serve as your principal at Fonville Middle School. I'm thrilled to embark on this new journey and work alongside a dedicated staff to ensure academic success for our students. My passion lies in creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where students thrive, parents are actively involved, and partnerships are fostered. My goal is to equip our students with the necessary skills to think critically, solve problems, and strive for excellence in all aspects of life.

Having devoted over 22 years to education in the Houston area, my journey began at C. Martinez Elementary School, where I initially served as a clerk before transitioning to a role as a 5th grade teacher. My experience at Sherman Elementary as both a science teacher and department chairperson further honed my skills, leading me to my role as an instructional specialist at Marshall Middle School. I then had the honor to serve as a middle school Assistant Principal for 4 years in Spring ISD. Today, I am honored to continue my educational journey at Fonville Middle School and am eager to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

I graduated from HISD. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Houston-Downtown, and my master’s degree in STEM Leadership from the American College of Education. I received the National Certificate for STEM Teaching from the National Institute for STEM Education. Proudly I am the mother of two wonderful young ladies and cherish family time immensely.

Me siento honrada de servir como su directora en la Escuela Secundaria Fonville. Estoy encantada de embarcame en este nuevo viaje y trabajar junto a un personal dedicado para garantizar el exito academico de nuestros estudiantes. Mi pasion radica encrear un ambiente positive e inclusive donde los estudiantes prosperen, los padres participen activamenete y se fomenten las asociaciones. Mi objective es equipar a nuestros estudaites con las habilidades necesarias para pensar criticamente, resolver problemas, y luchar por la excelencia en todos los aspectos de sus vidas.

Despues de haber dedicado mas de 22 anos a la education en el area de Houston, hoy me siento honrada de continuar mi viaje educativo en la Escuela Secundaria Fonville y estoy ansiosa por tener un impacto positive en las vidas de nuestros estudiantes.

Obtuve my licenciatura en Education Bilingue de la Universidad de Houston-Downtown y mi maestria en Liderazgo STEM en el American College of Education. Orgullosamente, soy madre de dos maravillosas jovencitas y aprecio inmensamente el tiempo en familia.
