Dr. Tanya Webb is excited to return as Principal of Elmore Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Beginning her 18th year in education, Dr. Webb joined the Houston ISD team as an ELA Teacher Development Specialist in 2019 before accepting the opportunity to serve as the Dean of Instruction at South Early College High School in the summer of 2020.  Dr. Webb earned her B.A. in English from Texas Southern University, and both her M. Ed. in Administration and Supervision and Ed. D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston.

Dr. Webb is driven by her desire to be the leader that communities deserve, a standard of excellence that has empowered her to ensure that her and her teams’ work yields life-changing opportunities for all students.
