    Ray K. Daily Elementary's Bell Schedule:
     
     
    School Starts: 7:30 am
     
    Students are TARDY: 7:40 am
     
    Students are ABSENT: 9:00 am 
    (If a student arrives in the classroom after 9:00am, the child will be marked absent for the day. If the student has a medical appointment and returns to school after 9:00am, an excuse/permission from the doctor/dentist is required to change the attendance to present) 
     
    School Ends: 3:00 pm
     

    Bell Schedule

    • All schools in HISD establish their own bell schedules, which typically stay the same, except on early dismissal days and during exams or testing. Arriving at school on time is critical to success in the classroom and parents are urged to make sure their students attend all scheduled days. Students must be present at least 35 minutes of the class period (or 60 minutes of a 90-minute class period) in order to be considered in attendance unless they are participating on a field trip or other activity approved by the principal.
