    HISTORY DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT:
     
    We believe that History classes taught at Liberty High School will provide relevant learning opportunities in history, politics, economics while developing critical thinking in a student centered environment with language support systems in place which helps prepare students for academic success and for life.
     
     BELIEF
     
    All students can acquire competency and excel in history courses that will prepare them for academic high school success, and higher education opportunities.   
     
     
    EXPECTATIONS  

    All students will be active and respectful learners in our classrooms by participating in classroom actives, asking questions, completing assignments, and attending tutorials as needed.  Students are expected to arrive to class on time and on a regular basis.
