Hii! I am Thanya Rivas-Nasoqeqe (nah-so-keh-keh). I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from Cal State Long Beach, California and earned my Masters in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University—Go Lions!!

This is my 3rd year teaching Special Education. My husband and I just moved to Houston from California, where I taught an Autism Special Day Class for two years. I am married, have a beautiful baby boy and three silly fur babies.

In my free time, I enjoy watching my husband play professional rugby for the Houston Sabercats and an interesting fact about me is that I have an obsession with Sunflowers.
