Hello, my name is Alma Gonzalez, and I am so excited to be your teacher this school year. I have been a teacher here at Gallegos Elementary for 5 years and have always taught Reading. I graduated from the University of Houston- Clear Lake with a Bachelor’s in Early childhood – 6th grade degree. I am married and have a 3-year-old son named Esteban. I am so excited to meet everyone and cannot wait to get this school year started!!!

I am a University of Houston Downtown graduate, receiving my BA in Business Management and my MBA in Leadership.  This will be my 6th year teaching math and 3rd year teaching science.
