Who is PAIR Houston?
-
PAIR empowers refugee youth to navigate American society, reach their academic potential, and become community leaders.
By developing their potential, each of Houston's young refugees will become a positively adjusted, more self-sufficient, engaged member of our community.
For most PAIR students, arrival in the U.S. brings the new possibility of gaining secondary education. But in order to complete high school and continue their education, they face great challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a new way of life.
PAIR bridges these gaps for 300 students each year through mentoring, tutoring, college access, and leadership development programs.
Supported by commited volunteers and partnering organizations, students find safety and connection, academic support and enrichment, opportunities to lead and build skills, and prepare for the future.
With PAIR's support, refugee youth build relationships, boost achievement, open doors, and inspire success!
