The New Education System (NES) schools are priority schools that will be provided additional resources and structured support to dramatically improve outcomes for their students. NES campuses offer the following:

• Free before and after school care. Campuses are open from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Increased learning and instruction time.
• Unique instructional model that combines grade level instruction and highly differentiated assignments and activities.
• Students receive additional experiences called" Dyad classes" in categories such as fitness, music and fine arts, 21stcentury media and technology, and hands-on science.
• Eligible students in specific grade levels travel out of state or out of the country.
• Students in grades 3 through 10 take an 'Art of Thinking Course' that focuses on information literacy, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication.
