Greetings,
I am thrilled to serve as the new principal of Robert L. Frost Elementary, bringing over 24 years of experience in education. As a passionate advocate for student success and community engagement, I began my career as an elementary classroom teacher, where I developed a deep understanding of meeting the diverse academic and social needs of students. Over the years, I have served as a Literacy Coach, Teacher Specialist, Assistant Principal and Principal, gaining valuable leadership experience in shaping school culture, and driving academic achievement.
I hold a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from St. Thomas University and a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Prairie View A&M University. Throughout my career, I have been committed to improving student outcomes through data-driven instruction and a strong focus on social-emotional learning.
Fostering a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels valued has always been at the core of my work. I believe in the power of collaborative leadership and enjoy working closely with teachers, families, and community members to support student growth. Under my leadership, Frost Elementary will continue its tradition of academic excellence while creating a nurturing environment where all students can thrive.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, reading, decorating, and spending time with my family and friends.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. F. Thompson
