Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

We are excited to begin Year 2 of our journey together. My name is Juan Francisco Batrez, and I am the proud principal of Scroggins Elementary Fine Arts Magnet School. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and community, we are proud to announce that our campus improved by 10 points on the state accountability ratings, moving from a D to a C! This achievement is a testament to our collective commitment to meeting the needs of every student.

This year, we will continue to focus on academic excellence while also celebrating the rich talents of our students and teachers. We are thrilled to showcase our outstanding Fine Arts program, with monthly performances featuring our talented Music and Dance teachers. These events will not only highlight the creativity and skills of our students but also provide a platform for our community to come together in celebration of the arts.
