Dr. Lauren M. Hooks is a dedicated educational professional with over 18 years of experience. As a proud product of the Houston Independent School District, Dr. Hooks has a deep-rooted commitment to serving students' educational needs. Her career includes roles as a district-level Special Education Instructional Specialist in Pasadena ISD, Assistant Principal, Special Education Coordinator in Spring ISD, Special Education Instructional Coach and Teacher in Humble ISD, and Special Education Paraprofessional in HISD. She holds a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Child and Family Development from Texas Southern University, a master's degree in Education Administration from Lamar University, where she also completed the Superintendent Program, and a doctorate in Education from Walden University. Dr. Hooks believes that all students can learn when provided with love and the appropriate support tailored to their individual needs.
