Field Elementary is a small, highly-rated elementary school in the Heights. In 2019, we became a National Blue-Ribbon School. The Texas Education Agency has rated us as an “A” school, and the Children at Risk organization has rated us as an “A+” school for the last three years. Our teachers are highly motivated and strive to get the best from every student. We also strive to provide enrichment activities for our students. With the assistance of our PTO, we provide additional fine arts programs through HITS, Open Dance Project, Iconoclast and Writers In The School. We also have many field trips to enhance student learning and promote college and career readiness. Our fourth graders visit Texas A & M in Galveston every year and discover the amazing world of marine biology.
Every year we have a limited number of places for students not in our attendance zone. We encourage interested parents to apply early for a school choice transfer. Thank you for your interest in Field!
“I like writing because it gives me a chance to express my feelings and be creative with no pressure.” --Leo Hansen, 4th grade
To date, DonorsChoose donors have gifted dozens of our teachers with thousands of dollars in school supplies, school furniture, technology, and so much more. If you'd like to help our teachers, please visit the PTO donors' page or click on the icon above to search for a teacher or project.
