Field Elementary is a small highly rated elementary school in the Heights. In 2019 we became a National Blue-Ribbon School. The Texas Education Agency has rated us as an “A” school and the Children at Risk has rated us as an “A+” school for the last three years. Our teachers are highly motivated and strive to get the best from every student. WE also strive to provide enrichment activities for our students. With the assistance of our P.T.O. we provide additional fine arts programs through HITS, Open Dance Project, Iconoclast and Writers In The School. We also have many field trips to enhance student learning. Our fourth graders will visit Texas A & M in Galveston this year again.

Every year we have a limited number of places for students not in our attendance zone. We encourage interested parents to apply early for a school choice transfer. Please call us at 713-867-5190 to arrange for our Thursday morning tours. We look forward to your visit.

  • Teacher of The Year

Ms. Mary Sayegh is our 2020 Teacher of The Year.  She truly loves to teach.  Her students love her and they excel academically.  The district also has acknowledged her as a highly effective teacher. She is truly deserving of the award.
