I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Middle College High School (MCHS) at Gulfton. 

My name is Dr. Marques Armant, and I am excited to join this vibrant school community. With 20 years of experience in public and charter education. Throughout my career, I have held various positions, including special education and math teacher, assistant principal, and currently, principal.  As we begin this new chapter together, my primary goal is to ensure that every student at MCHS at Gulfton receives a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment.  I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and respect, where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential. 

I look forward to working closely with our dedicated staff, engaged parents, and talented students. Together, we will build on the strong foundation already in place and strive for even greater achievements. Open communication and partnership will be key to our success, and I encourage you to share your ideas, feedback, and aspirations with me. Thank you for welcoming me into the Middle College High School at Gulfton family.
