Alicia Gobert Lewis

Alicia Gobert Lewis has been selected as the new principal of Forest Brook Middle School. Mrs. Lewis has over 27 years of experience in education. She is a proud native of the city of Houston and the Houston Independent School District. Mrs. Lewis attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She also received a Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Alicia Gobert Lewis is a wife, mother, and true educator. She has a love for providing scholars opportunities and options in life through the power of a quality education. She taught various elementary grade levels for 13 years, before becoming a literacy specialist for two years, a math specialist for six years, and a principal of Blackshear Elementary for 7 and a half years. Together with the scholars, staff, and community Mrs. Lewis is working very hard to ensure that Forest Brook Middle School is the school of choice in the Houston Independent School District.
