My name is Lina Gonzalez. I have served as an Assistant Principal in HISD for the past 3 years and have also worked as both a Math and Reading Teacher Specialist in charter schools and with the district. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and two master's degrees - one in Curriculum and Instruction and another in Leadership from the American College of Education. Originally from Medellin, Colombia, I have 11 years of educational experience and am very passionate and excited about this upcoming school year. I am committed to providing an excellent education to our students at Patrick Henry Middle School.

I have no doubt that this year will be filled with growth, learning, and success for both students and staff. I am dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic achievement, personal growth, and social-emotional development.
