Erika Vigil has been selected as the new Principal of Patrick Henry Middle School. Born in El Salvador and raised in Houston, Ms. Vigil has been an educator for 8 years in Dallas ISD and has held many roles fromeacher to assistant principal. She began her career as a Science Teacher in Dallas ISD before becoming an instructional coach supporting Science. Since 2020, she has served as an assistant principal at Thomas Jefferson High School and opened the first newcomer academy in Dallas ISD.

Ms. Vigil earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from Baylor University and Master’s Degree from Southern Methodist University in Educational Leadership.
