    • Biomedical engineers ($77,400)
    • Network systems and data communication analysts ($71,100) 
    • Home health aides ($20,460)
    • Personal and home care aides ($19,180)
    • Financial examiners ($70,930)
    • Medical scientists, except epidemiologists ($72,590)
    • Physician assistants ($81,230)
    • Skin care specialists ($28,730)
    • Biochemists and biophysicists ($82,840)
    • Athletic trainers ($39,640)
    Most of these are STEM Careers! 
     
    Our priority at Pugh Elementary, is to educate and equip scholars with the skills necessary to thrive in the global workplace. One of the ways we do this is through our STEM magnet program. Our scholars have a unique advantage in that they become science and technology proficient at an earlier age than students attending a traditional neighborhood school. 
     
     
     
    SCHOOL-WIDE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MAGNET PROGRAM 
     
     
    The Science and Technology Magnet program offers enrichment in science and technology. The STEM department plans and delivers instruction that challenge scholars to incorporate Science and Technology into their lives. Even the youngest scholars receive an introduction to engineering concepts, coding and technology tools.
