Who is Field PTO?
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. It means that we are an independent organization (unlike a PTA which is a national organization). Our mission at Field is to facilitate a positive collaboration between parents and educators with the goal of providing additional resources to the school and its students. A school cannot reach its fullest potential without parent participation and increasing the amount of parental involvement is a top priority this year.
Let’s face it, EVERYONE is busy. How do you add volunteering at your child’s school to an already full schedule? Easy – do whatever you can! What are you good at? What do you like to do? Bake? Decorate? Gardening? Photography? You will be surprised how much of a difference volunteering just 1-2 hours a month can make to the school and to your child!
Our general meetings are held at the school on the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. We would love to have parents and grandparents join us! Just check back on this page and we will direct you to our next meeting location.
Can’t make the monthly meetings? You can still help with special events and student activities! Just fill out a volunteer form on the right and let us know what events you would like to be involved in and when you are available. Or Donate!
We hope to see you during the school year and welcome any inquiries via the email address below!
Thank you,
Linda Peche
