Sports offered: Football, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball & Track

• 6th grade students must wait until the 7th grade to begin participating in sports. 7th and 8th graders are welcomed.

• 6th grade students can prepare for participation in sports by coming out to support our 7th and 8th grade teams as they play against opponents. In addition, 6th grade students can prepare by keeping physically fit and also keeping good study habits. In order to maintain eligibility for participation, students must pass all of their classes each grading period.

• 7th and 8th grade students who wish to participate in sports must have:
  • Athletic Physical
  • Parent Approval
  • Insurance: HISD Insurance ($35.00) or Proof of personal medical insurance
