Linda Ahumada 

My name is Linda R. Ahumada, and I am proud to be part of the Tijerina Elementary family as a dedicated Eagle! Hailing from South Texas, in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Bilingual/ESL and a Master’s Degree in Leadership from the University of Texas Pan American. I am certified to teach Bilingual/ESL (EC-8) Elementary Education and have developed a strong foundation in educational leadership over the years.

With 16 years of experience as an elementary educator and 8 years in administration, I’m entering my 25th year in education. I am truly passionate about nurturing the potential of our youngest learners. Every day, I am honored to guide them through their academic, social, language, and motor development. I strive to foster a community of engaged learners, ensuring growth in a positive, exciting environment where every child thrives.
