A Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Spanish. He worked as a tutor in the University of Houston-Downtown's Language Lab and his teaching internship at HISD's Wharton Elementary School Campus assisting in the non-native Spanish speakers dual language program.He studied at University Panamericana Law School and the Supreme Court of Costa Rica where he worked for several years. law at Judicial School. Upon immigrating to the United States, he enrolled in and completed an accelerated English language course in California. Before coming to North Houston Early College High School as a member of its original teaching staff, he taught Spanish at Spring Independent School District's Westfield High School.
