Mr. Ta proudly attended HISD through his K-12 general education studies. After high school, Mr. Ta earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with honors from the University of Houston main campus and a Master of Business Administration with honors from the University of Houston Victoria at the Sugarland campus.

Mr. Ta started his business education teaching career after working at various well established corporate organizations, such as: Walgreens, Washington Mutual Bank (Chase), Wells Fargo Bank, Westin Starwood Galleria Hotel, Foley’s (Macy’s), Toy R Us, Pappadeaux Seafood House, Cineplex Odeon (AMC), and several other companies.
