Almeda School Counselor, Ms. Tamika Roberson

Hello Bobcats!! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you this school year as we GLOW TOGETHER! I attended Prairie View A & M University and Texas Southern University where I received a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Community Psychology & a B.A. in Psychology/Child & Family Development. I am a Certified School Counselor with Region 4.  

I will work with our students to meet their Social, Emotional & Academic needs this school year through classroom guidance lessons, program activities, individual/group counseling sessions. Almeda School Counselor, Ms. China O'Bryant, M.Ed.

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your School Counselor. With over 10 years of experience in the education field, I have had the privilege of working in public, private, and charter schools, as well as in adult education.

I am a proud graduate of two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Huston-Tillotson University and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Southern University. My diverse background and education have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support our students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

I am excited to work with each of you and to be a part of the Almeda Elementary family. Together, we will create a positive and nurturing environment where EVERY STUDENT can thrive! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
