How Does Summer School Work?
Summer school is in-person only. Summer School at HSAA is for Credit Recovery (for students previously seated in the course but did not earn credit). Mr. Carter will make students aware of the need for summer school. He will send additional notices to the student/parent address on file as grades for the second semester are finalized. It is important that students clear all courses for which they have not earned credit in previous semesters. It is not necessary to email Mr. Carter unless you have not received a notification by June 1st and believe summer school is necessary.
- Students are allowed two absences during summer school.
- Disciplinary referral may result in removal from the summer school program.
