     Below is a link for the parent training "You Might Have a GT Student." This training will help you identify whether your child might be Gifted and Talented.  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like  your child to be tested for Gifted and Talented.  All K and 5th grade students will be tested during the month of November, if they have not been identified as GT yet. 1st and 4th grade students will be tested in November and December based on parent and/or teacher recommendation.

Below is the Parent Steps to Request G/T Evaluation. Please complete the form on HISD Connect, print a copy of the completed Request for Evaluation, scan and email the completed Request for Evaluation to Maritess Alviento, the campus GT coordinator at malvient@houstonisd.org.
