May Peralta has 15 years of experience teaching kids with special needs. She believes that "All children can learn. Through equipping students with the right study tools and with persistence and patience-- no challenge is too big and no victory is too small." 

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in Special Education from the University of the Philippines. She was working on a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling and was a thesis away when an opportunity to teach in America presented itself in 2002. 

Ms. Peralta is a proud mother of two boys who are also studying to become future educators at the University of Houston. She hopes and prays that they too will find fulfillment in pursuing a career that involves encouraging children to dream and reach their full potential.
