Dear Parents and Guardians:

I am thrilled to be a part of the Cage Elementary community!

I most recently served as principal intern and assistant principal at Piney Point Elementary in the Houston Independent School District. My extensive teaching background spans from pre-kindergarten to college, and before joining Houston ISD, I dedicated five years to teaching and learning in the culturally rich environment of Guanajuato, Mexico.

I hold a master's degree in curriculum and instructional technology, complemented by a doctoral degree in policy and leadership, both earned from the University of Houston. As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about exploring innovative teaching strategies that directly impact student achievement.

In my free time, I take my son to soccer games, play with Ninja Warrior (my dog), and swim.

With confidence in the community's collective efforts, I am eager to contribute to an environment where all can thrive and achieve excellence together.
