Greetings to the Attucks Middle School Community!

I am “jazzed” to have this opportunity to be your 8th-grade social studies teacher this school year.  Well, I have been teaching scholars since 2001.  I’m from Los Angeles, CA.  I am married, and have two sons.  I am a retired Major in the United States Army.  I served our country for 22 years.

I really like traveling. I have traveled to places such as Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, England, Holland, Mexico, The Czech Republic, Liechtenstein, Korea, China, South Africa, Mozambique, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and half of America.

My favorite food is pizza.  I really like the performing arts, and I truly enjoy learning about other cultures!  I look forward to serving as your guide as we learn US history from the 13 original English colonies to settling the West after the Civil War and Reconstruction.
