Ms. G. Hempill has been teaching in Houston ISD for 21 years. She has been with Mading Elementary School for 2 years. Ms. Hemphill graduated from Willowridge High School and went on to attend Texas Southern University where she received her Early Childhood Degree in Education.

Education has always been important to Ms. Hemphill growing up, as her mother retired from being an Educator after completing 47 years in the classroom.

Ms. Hemphill is the proud mother of one daughter who is currently studying to become a veterinarian.
