Dr. Norma Sibrian-Alemán has 22 years of experience in Title I K-12 public school settings. Her roles have included bilingual early childhood teacher, elementary bilingual skills specialist, and assistant principal at de Santiago EC/PK Center in Aldine ISD, where she reshaped the school's mission and enhanced teacher capacity in serving Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. At Spring ISD, she has held positions such as campus EB specialist, English Learner development specialist, language acquisition specialist, and secondary multilingual programs coordinator. She holds five active teaching certifications in Texas and obtained her Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership at Sam Houston State University. Dr. Sibrian-Alemán has presented at notable forums and is dedicated to equipping families and EB students with self-advocacy skills for success in the United States educational system.
