    A K-8 school located at 1101 Taft in the Fourth Ward area of Houston. Gregory-Lincoln a combined elementary and middle school that serves grades Kindergarten through 8, has a fine arts magnet enrichment (F.A.M.E.) that takes students in both the elementary and middle school levels.
     
     Brief History: What began as a 3-story brick building in 1966 has blossomed into a fine, arts enriched campus. One of the oldest schools in the historical Third Ward, our students continue to strive for the excellence our forefathers/mothers envisioned for our community. In January 2008, we opened our doors to welcome diverse and artistic students. We haven't stopped creating wonderful and inspriational scholars and look forward to the "dream catchers" waiting to take flight after accomplishing the academic mindset needed to continue on in life. What started here (below) is only the beginning of a rich community...
