Hello! My name is Mr. Gomez, and I am excited to join the Scroggins Elementary family as a music teacher. I graduated from Langston University, the only HBCU in Oklahoma, with a degree in Music Education. I performed with the Langston University Marching Pride Band for five years and served as the Drumline section leader from 2019 to 2021. I am also a member of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity Incorporated, and with nearly 13 years of performing experience, I have played with and for multiple music artists. My background and leadership roles have prepared me to inspire and nurture young musicians. I look forward to bringing my experience, enthusiasm, and love for music to Scroggins Elementary.
