• Class of 2014 is the last class required to pass TAKS in order to graduate. Students become eligible to take the exam once they are classified as a junior and must score a minimum of 2100 on the following TAKS exams:
    • Exit Level English Language Arts
    • Exit Level Math
    • Exit level Science
    • Exit Level Social Studies

    Class of 2015 and those after are required to meet state standards on STAAR End of Course Exams, also know as EOC exams. Once students are enrolled in the B semester of a course, they are eligible to sit for the corresponding exam. Students are required to meet standards on 15 subject tests and 5 content areas. The passing standards will increase twice, beginning with the class of 2017. They will rise for the last time beginning with the class of 2019.

    • Reading- English I Reading, English II Reading, English III Reading
    • Writing- English I Writing, English II Writing, English III Writing
    • Math- Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II
    • Science- Biology, Chemistry, Physics
    • Social Studies- World Geography, World History, U.S. History
