“Everything in life is practice.” This is Ms.Bujung’s philosophy for the classroom, and for life.  Nothing worth having is easy.  Things that do not come easily to you requirepractice.  The action of practicing makesany task easier. The classroom should be a safe place for students to learn, explore, make mistakes, fall down and get back up wiser, and see the benefit ofyour practice.  “Your input informs youroutcome.”

Ms Bujung has over twenty years experience teaching dance in the community.  Having trained with jazz great Frank Hatchett, she went on to train at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Broadway Dance Center, and Dance Theater of Harlem.  She has danced professionally both locally and internationally with several different companies including her own Second Generation Dance Company.  Ms. Bujung holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Hollins University.

Ms Bujung’s goal for this year is greater inclusion of students, and the community in the dance program.
