Mrs. Kasey Bailey
Greetings Parents and Students,
As a valued stakeholder we would like to extend a warm invitation to our web page. My name is Kasey Bailey and I am the Principal for Lawson Middle School. I am so excited to work with such a dynamic group of scholars and staff members. The community welcomed me with open arms last year and for that I am thankful. A consistent commitment to excellence defines the character of the family here at Lawson.
At Lawson Middle School we are committed to creating global graduates through interactions with print rich learning materials, collaborative learning environments, and a plethora of opportunities to think critically and creatively. Our scholars will be able to apply their knowledge while interacting with rigorous project learning experiences. Campus leaders and teachers are facilitators of learning charged with cultivating the minds of our scholars through data driven instruction that yields academic success. We are lifelong learners who are constantly striving to prepare our scholars for the 21st century and beyond. Here at Lawson, we educate the whole child. Our students are college bound and will be major contributors in the global workforce.
Our school culture believes that it takes a village to raise a child. We trust that each parent and community member will help make this philosophy a reality. It is our obligation to ensure that each student will value all learning experiences as they build friendships, matriculate through academic spirit and wisdom, and enjoy being a positive member of the Lawson Middle School student body daily.
As an educator, it is my philosophy to believe in the abundant opportunities that await each child that I come in contact with daily. It is also my obligation to promote each child’s confidence level, morale, and academic abilities so that they can be equipped with the fundamental skills of learning, perseverance, and strength. These essential skills are vital to prepare our scholars for what lies ahead of them. We discriminate against mediocrity and here at Lawson, we teach them as if they were our own.
In your service,
Kasey Bailey, Principal
