Kendal Bailey is the proud principal of Piney Point Elementary School.  Ms. Bailey has been with Houston ISD for over 25 years.  During this time, she taught middle school Language Arts and Choir. She has also served as a School Library Media Specialist.   Ms. Bailey was Assistant Principal at Piney Point Elementary and Jane Long Academy.  She was named HISD’s West Area Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year.

Bailey received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, where she graduated with University Honors and Honors in Interdisciplinary Studies, with specializations in Reading and Health Education.  She received her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston as a member of Houston ISD’s Secondary Principalship Academy.
