The programs coordinated by the HISD UIL Academic Department serve students in second through twelfth grade. Activities are too numerous to list completely but include solo and ensenble, one act play, theatrical design, debate, storytelling, accounting, journalism, spelling, oral reading, number sense, and others.

 

The UIL Academics Department encourages participation in extra-curricular activities to improve student achievement, and showcase student talents.
