    Welcome to an exciting 2019-2020 school year at Fondren Middle School! I trust you will find lots of helpful information and answers to many of the questions that are common to most parents, caregivers, community members, and visitors. 


    It is with extreme gratitude that I serve the students, parents, and community of Fondren Middle School. Our campus has a growing enrollment with students coming from a range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, creating diversity that is enjoyed by all. Our students are at the heart of all we do, an we enjoy celebrating their many efforts and achievements.   Each day we will strive to build strong relationships that will lead to the ultimate goal of student success. We are focused not only on what they do, but also on the positive and respectful manner in which they do it. 


    Our school is a place where all students will be safe, well-behaved and eager to learn. Learning and respect are expectations for all students at Fondren Middle School.  If you wish to, come and visit us, and see for yourselves what a great school this is, and you will be warmly welcomed.  We look forward to a dynamic year of teaching, learning, and growing!   • Magnet Information

    Phase 1 for Magnet applications open September 28 and ends December 6,2019. Come join us for Fondren Middle School Magnet Tour Dates on October 3rd @ 1pm; October 10th @ 1pm; October 17th @ 1pm; October 24th @ 1pm; November 7th @ 1pm; November 14th @ 1pm; November 21st @ 9am and 1pm; December 5th @ 9am and 1pm. We hope you can make it to one of these dates.

  • Let's Talk Transportation Help

    Let’s Talk! is an easy-to-use, online program that streamlines communication by giving parents and school staff a central location where they can submit questions and concerns, track their inquiries, get quick answers, and rate our service. Let’s Talk! will not replace the Customer Care call center but will allow both Transportation and Customer Care to focus on improving customer service and reducing response times. HOW TO GET STARTED To use Let’s Talk!, simply visit and click the Let’s Talk! button or download the Let’s Talk! app in the App Store or Google Play, click “Get Started,” and then enter ID: HI1862 when prompted. You can remain anonymous, but if you leave your contact information, you’ll receive a personal response within two business days.

    Servicios de transporte de HISD ha implementado el uso de Let’s Talk!, un intuitivo programa en línea que agiliza la comunicación proporcionando a los padres y personal escolar un lugar central donde podrán enviar sus preguntas e inquietudes, hacer un seguimiento a sus consultas, recibir respuestas rápidas y calificar el servicio. Let’s Talk! no sustituirá al Servicio al Cliente pero permitirá a este y al Servicio de Transporte centrarse en mejorar el servicio al público y reducir los tiempos de respuesta. Si desea utilizar Let’s Talk! haga clic en este link y descargue la aplicación en App Store o Google Play. Después haga clic en “Get Started” (Empezar) y escriba la identificación (ID) HI1862 cuando se la pidan.
