NHECHS Parent Welcome Letter

Welcome, Esteemed Parents and Guardians, to the 2024-25 school year at North Houston Early College High School! We are excited to start this school year strong and ensure a high-quality education for all our Red Hawks. I invite you this year to be dedicated partners with us as we support our scholars' success at the high school and college level with our Pre-AP, AP, Dual Credit, and Career Technology classes.

As we begin this journey together, I want to thank you sincerely for entrusting us with the academic and social-emotional development of your child(ren). We have an exceptional team of professional educators and learners who are committed to success for all. That success will occur when we all work together, monitor student academic progress regularly, provide the appropriate support, and maintain the best lines of communication between home and school.

This year, we encourage you to communicate regularly with your child's teachers to know firsthand the expectations of each course your child takes. Note that you will also receive monthly meeting updates from myself and our Parent Engagement Representative, Ms. Molly Travira.
