    We are pleased to welcome home Gina R. Wilkins as Principal of Woodson PK-5 Leadership Academy.

    Mrs. Wilkins is a passionate  educator and leader who is committed to enriching the lives of all scholars, parents, and the community through a sound, rigorous, and quality education. With hard work and the belief of doing what’s best for children, she understands and models that excellence is worth the effort.

    The goals for 2023-2024 school year:

    1. Build Relationships with all stakeholders
    2. Build Capacity of students, teachers, and leaders
    3. Build Strong Instructional Programs that meet the academic and social needs of all students

Vision/Mission Statement

  • Carter G. Woodson PK-5 Leadership Academy will develop leaders who will utilize their academic knowledge to serve as a catalyst for change in the global society.      

  • Effective, November 7, 2022, HISD Alumni Transcripts & Student Records will no longer be issued in person at the Hattie Mae White Administrative building. 

    Individuals must request transcripts and other student records by accessing this website: https://houstonisdtx.scriborder.com.

     Requestors will incur an $8.00 fee for processing.
