• Classroom Visits

Parents are welcome to visit the school at anytime.  Classroom visitations are restricted to the class in which your child is enrolled, and must be arranged during the teacher’s conference period or at a time that is convenient for the teacher. Parents are not to interrupt instructional time during the school day, as we value every minute of learning for your student.  HISD Board Policy states ALL VISITORS MUST HAVE A VISITOR’S PASS FROM THE MAIN OFFICE upon entering the campus. Parent/Teacher conferences are to be scheduled with the teacher in advance. These conferences should be set up during the teacher’s preparation and planning time, before or after school, or during a time when the teacher is relieved of classroom responsibilities.  Classroom visits should be limited to no more than 15 minutes and be accompanied by an administrator.  Younger children (siblings, relatives) are not permitted in the classrooms during the visitation, as the focus should be on the student enrolled in that class.
