Mr. Travis Johnson attended Langston University where he earned his bachelor's degree in Science Education. His graduate studies in Educational Administration was completed at Prairie View A & M University. 

 

His educational career in the Houston Independent School District began at Codwell Elementary School where he served as a teacher and a team leader. He then transitioned to Blackshear Elementary School where he served as the assistant principal.

 

Mr. Johnson is the proud parent of two HISD students.
